YAMAHA SG-1000 Cherry Sunburst MIJ Guitar 80's

This is one of the famous Yamaha SG range and was made between 1983 and 1985. It has the push/push tone pots that isolate the humbuckers and a long neck tennon joint. It was Made in Japan with the serial number 077950 and weighs 4.20 kilos.

A quality guitar that is in excellent used condition (see pics) - The front of the guitar has a few tiny marks and the odd small scratch but is basically clean. The back and back of the neck have some slight lacquer clouding. The back has some scratching and a number of minor dinks including a few small chips but nothing major. The back of the neck is clean other than a couple of small scratches at the base and the headstock has a couple of chips including a wood chip on the back of one corner. There is also some lacquer clouding on the face of the headstock. The original hardware has some minor wear to the goldplate and its in excellent order and working well. The electrics are fine with the original pickups and the coil taps. The ebony fretboard is good with the frets showing minimal wear. Its playing fine and includes a gigbag.

It weighs just over 8 kilos packed properly so can be sent from Japan by EMS express registered airmail (3-4 days), SAL (2-3 weeks) or Sea freight (6-8 weeks). As there is obviously a difference in price Buyer can decide which. Rates are below or feel free to email for confirmation.
