YAMAHA SG-1000 Tobacco Sunburst MIJ Guitar 80's

This is one of the famous Yamaha SG range and was made between 1983 and 1985. It has the push/push tone pots that isolate the humbuckers and a long neck tennon joint. It was Made in Japan with the serial number 051025.

A quality guitar that is in quite good used condition (see pics) - The front of the guitar has a few tiny marks and some very slight lacquer clouding around the egdes. The back and back of the neck have more extensive lacquer clouding. The back has some scratching and a few minor dinks but nothing major. The back of the neck is actually clean other than the clouding and the headstock has a couple of tiny chips. The original hardware has minimal wear to the goldplate and the bridge and tailpiece are new replacements -its in excellent order and working well. The electrics are fine with the original pickups and the coil taps. The fretboard is good with the frets showing minimal to zero wear. Its playing fine and includes a gigbag.

It weighs just over 8 kilos packed properly so can be sent from Japan by EMS express registered airmail (3-4 days), SAL (2-3 weeks) or Sea freight (6-8 weeks). As there is obviously a difference in price Buyer can decide which. Rates are below or feel free to email for confirmation.
