YAMAHA YZ 125J 1982 MODEL

For Sale is a YAMAHA YZ 125J 1982 MODEL.

 I bought this bike 2 years ago, and have taught our teenagers how to ride, I was also using it for a short time but the interest level has taken a nose dive and I am getting too old.

This bike would be perfect for VMX, the motor runs well (put new ring in 6 months ago) it still gets a bit of the Yamaha piston slap in higher gears when the revs are low, but get it into the power band and it goes well, it has never affected the bikes performance.

Other work done recently

·         New front tire (rear about 50%)

·         New clutch plates and clutch cable

·         New hand grips

There are a few small cracks in the plastics but the bike is 27 years old.

 It could use a new gear shift lever but the old one works fine and is NOT welded on.

 Chain and sprockets are good and suspension works well.

There is no warranty on this bike but I have revealed with honesty all faults and buyer will not be disappointed, always reliable, never let me down.
