Nantucket 31 designed by Peter Cole and built in Fibreglass to a high standard by Comprador Yachts in 1980,all rigging loads are distributed by an Aluminium ring frame which connects to the Keel, making this a very strong boat, this boat has competed in a few Sydney to Hobart yacht races, and comes with an extensive sail wardrobe which includes a Mainsail and a range of headsails plus 2 spinnakers, powered by a Bukh DV 24HP motor which was reconditioned in the late nineties and still runs well, the boat was removed from the water last November for a refit and has been sitting in this cradle ever since, I have hardly done a thing to it due to work commitments, this boat will, once restored make a beautiful boat for someone, the following things need to be done.Deck hatches and windows, standing rigging and some repairs to the mast, upholstery, antifoul removed and it would make sense to Epoxy below the waterline, two small gelcoat blisters on the Port side , hull respray ( not essential ) toilet was removed to make way for Chemical toilet. A good Nantucket will fetch in the order of $70,000 so there is plenty of room for capital gain for the astute buyer, the more skilled you are the more you will save, at a starting price of under $20K makes this a fantastic opportunity, comes complete with a steel cradle, has some basic electronics, 27meg, VHF, Stereo, 2 x 22 Watt solar panels on a Targa/Bimini frame which attaches to the stern rail, Spray dodger frame, boom sail cover, winch covers. At this starting price ( no reserve) this boat is a "give away" and it breaks my heart to sell  it, there is absolutely no point in making any offers below the starting price, we will not respond to them, also I have outlined the the necessary repairs, I am happy to elaborate on a particular issue, but please dont send emails asking what needs to be done, inspections are more than welcome.
