You are looking at a Yamaha Tx81z. This synth is eight part multi timbral and polyphonic. The real power of this synth is the ability to stack eight parts using the same voice on top of each other and individually detune each one. This makes for some seriously fat FM sounds. This synth is famous for its "lately bass" patch. If you detune and stack this patch you have a deep sound that sounds punchy well into the sub bass region. For deep bass sounds the Tx81z leaves everything other than a DX7 or DX5 for dead. You can detune and stack any patch on this synth to create fat, but monophonic sounds. 

Basically if you want awesome FM sounds but don't want to spend $500 bucks on a DX7 or if you don't have the space for one - this is the perfect synth for you. Its every bit as fat but lacks the polyphony.

This Tx81z is in good condidtion and comes with its original manual.
