Yamaha XS 650 Special H 1981

I am selling my XS to start another project. The bike is a US import and is in show condition. I have put 1000ks on the clock and is a pleasure to ride. This is the list of work I have completed. New two pac paint to original and decals. All new oil filters. Full Stainless Steel tuned exhaust so I can preserve the original pipes as they are in perfect condition. The carbs have been rejetted with a Dyno kit from Mikes XS. Replace indicators to preserve originals (and looks good). The rear swing arm bushes have been replaced with bronze and the swing arm has been braced to improve handling and re powder coated. Front Falk brace is fitted and oil is changed. The steering head bearings are replaced with tapered bearings. The bike handles real well. I have polished the falks and engine covers. It has a new battery, rewound rotor and new brushes. I think that's it, a few grands worth. The rear rim has some spot corrosion and needs re chroming, if you want to get real fussy. This is a serious bike if you want to collect as a investment or a real head turner for the riders of 30yo bikes. Not to many around in this condition and low Ks.
