Yellow Flowered Blackbutt

Eucalyptus stricklandii

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

The Yellow Flowered Blackbutt is an erect tree that grows to 15 metres in sandy or loamy soils in an open, sunny position. It is drought and frost resistant.

A native of Western Australia, this evergreen tree has a rough, dark bark on the lower trunk with smooth greyish to reddish brown bark above. The crown is very dense with 13 cm long leaves. The flower buds are powdery white giving rise to brilliant yellow flowers. 

Offered is a packet of approximately 200 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to propagate this easily grown tree.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap.
