Chopped steel body with fibreglass front end, and blown 554 Walt Austin
Hemi. Top Qualified, and Winner, by defeating Perth champion Brendan
McSweeney. Best lap - 6.54 @ 218mph.
Zap's Rat 1992 - 1993 Chopped steel body with fibreglass front end, and
blown 540 Walt Austin Hemi. Best Lap - 6.74 @ 214mph (World Doorslammer
speed record). Defeated visiting USA NHRA champion Wayne Torkleson.
Zap's Rat 1991 - 1992 Blown AA/GAS and BB/ALT, Steel body with fibreglass
front end, and blown 540 Walt Austin Hemi. Best Lap - 6.93 @ 209mph Zap's
Rat 1989 - 1991 Blown AA/GAS and BB/ALT, Steel body with fibreglass front
end (bonnet scoop), and blown 496 to 526 KB Hemi.
Best lap - 7.19 @ 194mph.
Zap's Rat 1987 - 1988 Blown AA/GAS and BB/ALT, Steel body with fibreglass
front end, and blown 482 KB Hemi.
Best lap - 7.36 @ 187mph.
