Zemaitis 1979 Original with Engraving by D O'Brien

Hi folks, once again I have my Zemaitis 1979 original up for sale. As I reckon there are a limited number of us both interested in and able to afford Z guitars then I won't bother describing it again. But it is nice, it is a Z model from 1979 and it is original with an engraved scratchplate, bridge stop and truss rod cover by Mr. O'Brien himself. I live in the tropics and the guitar lives in England - the tropics is not a good place to store guitars as rare as this. But I will be in the UK for a week at the beginning of November so am putting it up for sale again. Simply because I don't get the chance to play it and it is too nice to leave locked away in a dark cupboard. They were made to be played not simply worshipped. Anyway, it has a couple of very minor blemishes but nothing structural or that detracts from the playing side. After all it is now 30 years old. Comes in its original case. I don't have the original paperwork because I bought second hand a long time ago but I do have correspondence from Mr. Z regarding the guitar (and his car, and his aeroplane and advice about my marriage.....) I can send scans of these to the genuinely interested. Extra photos can be sent by email on request. Its unlikely I'll be able to get another one of these so I have to price it realistically. But times are hard I know - and guitars of this value don't sell easily so please feel free to make an offer. I've knocked off a 1,500 pounds as a special offer on the starting bid. (I can't believe I did that) As I said, I live abroad. I list PayPal but can only cash or banker's draft on delivery. (something to do with addresses. However ebay rules mean that I have to say that PayPal is accepted. A minor problem. But the guitar will be hand delivered for free to the lucky purchaser for cash on delivery or certified bankers cheque. Or arrangements can be made through the Z club if you prefer.
