ae86 sprinter

Here is my mates sprinter. he has had it for about 31/2 years and it has been in his garage for about 3 of that. it blew a clutch slave cylinder just before it ran out of rego last time (sep 06) so he put it in his garage and never got round to fixing it. he is in the navy and on his last dash for cash so he has asked me to sell it for him. he has no where to keep it when he gets back so he has asked me to get rid of it while he is on the boat. it is signed into my name so tech its mine and i will be signing for it.

ok now the car.

its a 1984 ae86 with a 4age engine in it. a microtech fuel computer in it and a efi pump. other than that its pretty stock. the car has about 200,000k on it from new. the paint is not the best but it hasn't been cleaned in 3 years. i think it would come up well with a cut and polish. the body is pretty good. i have replaced the clutch slave cylinder then found out the master brake cylinder had died so it has a brand new one of those as well. the interior is in great condition for its age

there is a set of extractors to go with the car and 2 simmon b45 think thats the name (the star ones)

the bad.

it needs a good tune, it runs and you can drive it but its got a miss under load. my bet is the old fuel thats in it. i have driven it up the street and back, it brakes straght and drives pretty well.

it needs a new door lock on the passanger side. some one thought they wanted it more than my mate awhile ago and has stuffed that lock. i have two brand new door locks for it.

the battery has died from sitting so long.

one of these went on ebay last week for $3600 with out a 4age in it. grab a bargan with this car!
