DESCRIPTION
This item is part of a Australian
collection. Most items were collected during the 1970s in the
feild in New Guinea and Indonesia.
Some were purchased by the collector during the 1980s
and 90s at Sotheby's and Lawsons auctions in Sydney Australia. I
have included a couple of pictures of the collector on location
in the 1970s.
Here we have an interesting very old Lume
measures approx 20 cm high. There is a split in one arm. This
lovely piece is from Ghana (Kente people). A beautiful
piece.
