Gorgeous Old 1930's? DOUBLE Bed in original condition. Bedhead and foot have inlay posies in different timbers and mother of pearl which makes for a very pretty and interesting design- Has two heavy metal bars connecting head and foot to support wire mesh bed base also in original condition with no rust. Bed is sturdy, weighty and in good used condition - needs no attention except to possibly woodwork depending on your needs.
Unsure of type of timber in bed but has lovely grain - see pix.
Bead head and foot have a few knocks from years of just "being", someone in the know could bring this up to a divine piece or if you're happy to just hit it with cedar oil it comes up a treat also.
We've had this bed for eons and has been a faithful main bed and guest bed but due to combining two [very over furnished] households, Old faithful is in need of a new home. We are putting her on at a starting bid of 0.99 cents so you decide what she's worth to you.
Pick up is from Ettalong Beach on the central coast near the school and fast pick up would be desired as WE NEED THE SPACE. [other wise re-listing will be essential]
You will need a ute or trailer 'tho a station wagon with roof racks will probably get you out of hot water.
