Antique Arts & Crafts SMOKER's 5 Piece TABLE STAND
ITEM	This is a unique item.  It is a table top smoking stand that is made of wood.  There is a base with 4 cup like accessories -- there is a cup large enough to hold cigarettes, one smaller one that was probably meant for matches, one candleholder (this was made in the days before cigarette lighters) and there is a paint decorated porcelain cup that has a metal guillotine cutter in the center.  It's too small to be a cigar cutter so we assume it was for hand-rolled cigarettes.   Each of these cup-like pieces attaches to the diamond shaped wood base with pegs and is easily removed and the pieces can be rearranged.  The base has four small legs.   This would be an exceptional addition to any collection of tobacciana as well as a useful accessory for the smoker.

Dimensions	It measures 13" X 10" X 7" High (the tallest piece is this height)
Condition	Good original condition.  Each cup has a braided decoration around it and there is some age appropriate wear to this braiding (see photos).  No breaks, no repairs, no significant scratches.  No chips on the porcelain.
Provenance	This wonderful item is fresh from a charming cottage on a hillside overlooking the water.  Owned by a lifelong collector of antiques, this lovely home was packed full of beautiful antiques and vintage items that ranged in style from French Country to Victorian to American Empire and made of woods which ranged from formal mahogany to informal tiger oak and bird's-eye maple.  The decorative accessories ranged from fine lamps to silver to elegant serving pieces and more.
