~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ vintage photograph ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ in original folder. bottom right of photo embossed with la fayette. folder is marked la fayette studio, 140 geary street, sf, cal. image is sepia toned, of a beautiful young woman with flapper styled hair. wearing a black? cape with large sawtooth hem and with white matching sawtooth undermaterial to the cape. not absolutely sure when this was taken.... but probably from other items from the estate... late 1920s through the 1930s. from estate of san francisco family with mexican roots. image area measures about 4.5 by 7.75 inches and is in great condition. there are no markings on the photo's reverse. folder is yellowing quite a bit from age with surface soiling, corners are soft and has as few pushes to edges. folder measures about 7 by 11 when closed.
