You are bidding on software that runs in your web browser and continually searches the major eBay sites (including US, UK, Canada, Australia) for great Buy It Now deals. You can use this scanner to find anything, not just consumer electronics - why not use it to get a great deal on the next pair of shoes you buy on eBay? It's set and forget - just start it running, and it will give an audible alert when an item is listed that matches your criteria. This is a great time saver since you don't have to be sitting at your computer all day re-running searches. The software will be delivered to you digitally. You can run the software unrestricted for free from here or click on the picture below (this copy is supported by advertising; if you pay you won't see any ads). Why do you need this software? You may not realise it, but you can often pick up things much cheaper with Buy It Now than you can in a pure auction. The problem is, you have to be continually searching to pick up the great Buy It Now deals before someone else snaps them up. This scanning software solves that problem: it continually scans eBay for newly-listed items and gives an audible alert when it finds one that fits your requirements.
All you have to do is type in your keywords and your target price, set it going, turn up the sound on your computer (so you don't miss an alert) and go and do something else! When you hear an alert, run to your computer and check out the listing (or listings) that the scanner is showing. Click on the title to see the full listing and Buy It Now if it still looks like a great deal. There are also special modes for searching for Apple iPod touch and Apple iPhone. You can specify features like generation, capacity and used or new and the program will only alert you to items that are at least as good as what you have specified. I have tested the scanner in IE 8, Firefox 3.5, Google Chrome, and Safari 4.0.3 on the PC, and it also works - apart from the audible alerts - in Safari on the iPod Touch (and presumably also on the iPhone). It should work in other recent browsers on the PC and Mac - if you want to buy it and try it on a different browser than the ones I have tested I will happily refund you if you find it doesn't work. You will need Javascript to be enabled in your browser (it probably already is). With IE, depending on your security settings, you may have to click through a warning to permit the script to use the Windows Media Player plug-in (so it can make the alert sound). Cheers, Andrew |
