Apple iMac G5 desktop with 17" LCD monitor - NEEDS NEW LOGIC BOARD
This Mac is a great machine but the logic board has died. I've had a quote on replacing this from NextByte for approx $900 - I decided to upgrade instead as I use it for my home-based business, but even with the cost of fixing it, it's a great bargain. Even moreso if you can do it yourself! I've had the hard drive wiped so it's clean and ready to go.Before the logic board died, this was an excellent machine and great for small business and personal use - comes with original box and disk, meaning you get all the fabulous Apple programs such as iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD, Mail, Safari etc. Just insert the start up disk and it's plug and play (once you've fixed the logic board, of course)! I bought it in mid-2005, so the specifications are standard for that model apart from upgrading to 1GB memory when I bought it.
