mx5 mx-5 rear subframe brace/bracket. Stiffen your na6!

Hi Guys,

Up for grabs in a new rear subframe brace designed specifically to stiffen up the rear end of your original model mx5 (1989-1992) which has no chassis bracing. These make a massive difference to the handling of your car. In late 1992 Mazda actually added a similar brace using a single piece of tubular metal. These follow the same design principal, however through using four mounting points instead of two this brace is signifigantly more effective. You'll be thrilled when you fit this, it makes the rear of the car feel much more solid, the whole car moves as one rather than flexing.

Fitting is easy (instructions are included) the brace is designed to fit using existing mounting points on the rear subframe (you should be able to see these in the second picture) However depending on your camber settings you may have to file the lower mounting holes slightly (this depends on how extreme your camber settings are)

The brace pictured in the first picture is what you are buying, brand new (never fitted to a car) and is finished in black powder coat. The brace pictured fitted on a car is a earlier version and is not powder coated. The brace is machine cut and folded from 2mm Zinc seal mild steel. These braces are not designed to fit post 1992 models with the mazda rear braces. People have reported fitting similar braces to 1992+ models, but I am not willing to make any guarantees.
