Retro Oak Dining Table + Four Chairs

Beautiful simple small dining table and four chairs. Would suit a kitchen or smaller dining area. It was made in Melbourne in the 50s.

The set is structurally perfect. All the chair joints are sound and do not wobble. The chairs are very comfortable. The backs are high and curved to conform to body shape.

The table top has been sanded, sealed and oiled. There are no ugly scratches or stains. The chair frames have minor wear mostly around the leg bottoms. They are in very good vintage condition.

The table top is solid there is no veneer. The legs unscrew for transport. The set is very much in the Ercol and Danish style. The table legs are rounded and bullet shaped. It has been refurbished to last another 50+ yrs.

I have a large amount in storage that I am restoring and will be listing soon in the coming weeks.

Local Delivery or Pick up

We can deliver to Melbourne metro suburbs for $50. Any suburb within 15km radius of the CBD is $50. Delivery is charged per lot not per item. So any number of items is $50 to the same location. For areas outside this zone you can contact us for a quote. Pickup is appreciated and we are available 7 days.

Interstate Buyers

Happy for interstate buyers to bid but you must organise a courier.

Can contact Gary from Aladdins On The Move for a quote via email. You can find their details through ebay and get a quote online. They deliver to most Australian capitals and many country areas. This is just a suggestion and we are happy to work with any courier of your choice.

Collection & Payment

Pick up is appreciated within 7 days, COD or Bank deposit or paypal. Will hold items longer for interstate buyers. Contact to be made regarding payment and pick up within 48hrs of auction end. Payment to be made within 7 days. ****Please do not make payment until an invoice has been sent.
