Some one emailed me today and told me the following
this form of art is made by stencil block and then it is hand painted over ,
it is likely that it was not framed overseas for a few good reasons , one is that it is lighter to travel with and the other reason is that because of the type of materials used over seas - customs may not approve them in Australia if they are framed , so obviously it was taken to the picture framer in Moorabbin for that reason . I don't know how accurate this information is but thought i just put this with the listing - it may assist buyer . Any way what ever they are I know they are old going by the phone number on the back see below in description , and I quite like them and think they are quite beautiful and will fill a nice wall for some spiritual person out there .

I have been able to contact the relatives of the person that gave them to me - they told me that they were purchased as a blessing
the above info is only what I am being told -  these could be very valuable and a good buy - they may not , regardless of their valuation I still think my listing price is fair as you would probably pay this for modern prints that are not old
