About MeMinelab Metal Detector

This is for a professionally made circuit board that is for a switchmode stepdown voltage reducer . It will work with input voltages from 12 to 100 Volts DC and output voltages 3.3 to 80 volts DC at around 7 amps.

I do not supply the parts that go on the board but I supply a Protel Schematic diagram and parts overlay is on the board. This board also has an active spike supression circuit incorporated into the design. All parts are readily available for this design. Board measures 85mm X 55mm.

Questions and answers about this item
 Q: will this supply step up the voltage? ie can it put out more than it can put in? Also roughly how much does it cost for the remaining parts?
A: I have only built one using parts from Farnel ,I think it cost $40 but Farnel is expensive. Yes it can up and down convert but the output will not go over 100 volts.
