this is a rare vintage beehive style coil it is 6 VOLTS looks to be made of bakelite it is ECHLIN brand model IC 55 it is in nice overall condition no cracks i connected a 6v battery charger to it and got a boot from the distributor outlet so should work. Looks to be made of bakelite and has a finned aluminium cover on the top with badge on top, outlet is underneath and still has wire connector that unscrews nice item for a hotrod or worked vintage motor. because of age there is no guarantee on this item.

Main photo makes it look a bit rough, there looks to have been a sticker on it at one stage body is actually in great condition.
