Hi,today I have up for auction a vintage 1970's fibreglass skateboard.On the underside it says 747 Hardy,it is a fibreglass deck and please note that this is a vintage item,and as so I am selling it as well used,but I have to be fair and say that it is in reasonable condition for it's age.The top of the deck is decorated with little girls and boys,flowers,butterflies and birds.So if you like "Kath Kidston" you will love this design.VERY SHABBY CHIC.The deck measures APPROX 25.5 INCHES in length and APPROX 6 INCHES wide in the widest place.On the upper deck can also been seen 2x4 rusty screws which hold into place the wheels ( sorry I am not an expert on these items or terms so if this is not the right technicalities sorry!).Underneath the wheels are red and seem a bit squeaky and tight once any weight is put onto the board.The wheels are attached to the metal framed brackets which also bears the word "Hardy".Sold with no reserve and a starting price of just 99p,please take a look at my other vintage toy listings...ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK !!!!.Please also remember this item probably wouldn't stand up to modern day safety checks so please don't expect it too,so if you use it you skate at your own risk....... |
