you were looking but you hesitated...here it is at $99 because we are moving...

This is an incredibly rare shaped wardrobe, it is very ornate and elegant , and very versitile....now its very cheap... I first listed it at $399 figuring a fair price but it must go, I do have it advertised elsewhere for $485 [I reserve the right to remove it if sold elsewhere] but here it is ...buy buy.

Bid on it NOW and I'll remove it from other site, let ebay decide.

wardrobe ornate curved top solid wood with wood veneer, solid wood, very heavy, dissasembles into 3 manageable pieces,

veneer has patina for those who like the "history of it" look, veneer would need work for those who want it fully restored or live with it as part of its history.

all parts are real wood and solid/thick with outside veneered with wood veneer.[type unknown to me], there is a small piece of wood missing out of the top trim but is replaceable by woodworker. The wardrobe is constructed from solid wood and finished by the wood veneer.
To sum up,it is solid, needs veneer work, leg and base have cat scratchings, base has been repaired at some time, insides very clean, trim piece needs small piece replaced, drawers work beautifully,

this would have been a top quality wardrobe in its day.

Totally usable as it is, I have been using it for last 12 years as my only wardrobe and it holds a lot., only selling as have sold my house and moved to a small house with a built in wardrobe.

As the house is up for sale, pickup and payment must be within 7 days of auction ending unless otherwise agreed to. If you have trouble with that time slot ring me to discuss, there is a bit more time than this [maybe a month] but new "owner to be" is working on house before settlement so my access to house may be harder down the track.If its not gone before settlement its lost. Payment would need to be within 7 days .

since measuring everything I am going over it,

forgot to mention it has a beautiful beavelled edge mirror, 5 removable drawers, 3 removable boards one of which is above the hanging space, very strong hanging rail and 5 belt or scarf hooks,heaps of internal storage.

The middle door with mirror rubs on bottom and is hard to close right up, although it will, I am still using this cupboard and have used it this way ever since i put it in my bedroom,other doors are ok but some rubbing could be aleviated on these too. new owner will need to juggle to get it right, maybe it was because I removed doors on moving to reduce its weight ..and refitted..as with any vintage furniture, care and devotion is needed to get it back to its glory day..

I am trying to be diligent and put in as much info as I can, I have used this cupboard for years and as so appreciate it for what it is, I would hate someone to think it's condition is like a 5 year old cupboard, age creates imperfections, its history perhaps, this piece is unrestored and is not perfect just a rare and extemely different cupboard. It is sold unrestored and as is.
