This BR425 3V Lithium battery replaces Lithium Manganese Dioxide (LiMnO2) and Lithium Carbon Monofluoride batteries.

This BR425 3V 'pin type' lithium battery weighs a mere gram, the light weight achieved through the use of an aluminium canister.

This BR425 pin-type lithium battery is widely used in illuminated fishing floats for night fishing, PDA stylus with light source, miniature torches. 

This BR425 is a high-capacity cylindrical-type Primary Lithium Battery with a bobbin structure and  laser-sealing. The  BR425 uses Lithium Manganese Dioxide chemistry for a high energy density and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to + 85°C. Self discharge is low at less than 0.5% per annum at 20°C, giving an effective shelf life of 10 years.
