Description

Antique Solid Wood Picture Frame - 1900's

This is a beautiful, old solid wood photo/picture frame......around 100 years old.  I think it is oak wood & has a fine raised beading around the edge & has a beautiful grain. Is quite a light weight frame.

The frame has been curved from the piece of wood to give the frame depth, as you can see in photo no 5.  (it's not just a straight piece of wood like you get these days!) .....all in great used condition. The back has a recess which would allow you to put in a piece of glass  over a photo or it would also frame a painting superbly. The frame is 5 cms or 2 inches wide.

You could use it either way....portrait or landscape.

Dimensions: 58 cms x 44 cms - outside

                     35.5 cms x 50 cms - inside.

A: The outside of the frame measures 58 cms x 44 cms, and the inside (where the picture goes) measures 50 cms x 35.5 cms. If you need any other measurements let me know.
