Weight
    The recommended weight restrictions for the Ergomotion adjustable base are as follows and include the weight of the mattress (generally 50-100#).
        Twin or twin extra long:  400#
        Full or full extra long:  450#
        Queen:  500#
        Split base:  400 # per side.
    The bed will support the recommended weight limits if distributed evenly across the base.  This product is not designed to support or lift this amount in the head or foot sections alone.  When entering or exiting the bed, it should be in the flat position.  Or course, you should not sit on the head or foot sections when raised.  Exceeding the recommended weight restriction could damage your bed base and void your warranty.

Technical details (not for everybody...but grouped together for those who want to know).  This adjustable bed is manufactured under an ISO 9000 International Quality Control Standard.  Designed with the highest level of aesthetic appeal in the adjustable bed industry, ErgoMotion beds afford you with a high quality product at an affordable price. 
ErgoBases are manufactured with the following characteristics:

• ALL OUR BEDS ARE WALL-HUGGERS.  This means that the head of the bed remains at a constant distance from the wall as the bed articulates. This allows them to operate in any bed frame.
• FRAME - Made of powder coated carbon steel, 2.5mm and 4.0mm gauge. 
• PLATFORM - Made of ¾” (18mm) solid plywood (no particle board) Hinges are heavy duty.
• PADDING AND COVER - Deck foam is 2lb high resiliency polyurethane, with an ILD of 28.  Top foam is 1” (25mm) thick, side foam is 2 ¾” (70mm) thick.  Cover is made of a non-woven jacquard or velour fabric, which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester.
• BED HEIGHT – 8”  (200mm) w/o legs, 15” (380mm) with legs (provided)
• MOTOR-DC 24 Volt  Okin Technology.  Duty cycle, 1min on/ 8 min off. UL Approval-File E253985, issued 6/28/06               
• REMOTE AND TRANSFORMER – Operate on radio frequency. Four different selectable frequencies are utilized, denoted A, B, C, and D.  This allows for easy identification for control separation when a customer purchases more than one bed. Remote controls are interchangeable between wired or wireless on same transformer. UL Approval-File E258276, issued 8/31/05
• TESTING ON ENTIRE ASSEMBLY – ended at 56,000 cycles under 800 lb static load with 3-minute interval cycles.
• SERVICE – This product has been designed for complete service without tools.  ErgoSport's warranty includes quick replacement parts (if necessary).

Shipping

• Orders ship from a factory warehouse by motor freight within the contiguous US.  White Glove delivery is available for $150
  
• Allow 5-10 business days for shipping time for motor freight, 7-12 business days for White Glove delivery.

• Shipping is only to the address on the PayPal payment. If there are different addresses on purchase and payment communications, you’ll need to confirm the correct address before I’ll ship.
