An elegant and beautiful antique timepiece with a high quality movement and stunning slate case. 

The movement has recently been serviced and it runs really well. 

 Features beautiful enamel face with bevelled glass lens and working visible escapement.  The case features classical columns and unusual frieze work inset at the top.

This is a large, heavy and very solid mantle clock which dates from around 1890

The heavy slate case is in excellent condition for age and is completely free from cracks, missing pieces or other significant damage.  There is no evidence of any previous repairs and it just looks superb!  There are a few very minor chips on the edges to the case, but only noticable on close inspection and do not detract from the stunning appearance of this beautiful old timepiece. 

The face is in excellent order, with no cracks or chips in the porcelain dial.

This clock strikes out the time each hour on the internal coiled cathedral gong.  It also strikes once on the half hour.

Complete with key and pendulum.

Overall a delightful antique timepiece that will look stunning in any setting
