       This Authentic, Rare, Antique Baluch Pile Rug from North East Khorasan Turkestan Border Regions Displays An Intriguing Design of Serrated Leaf Motifs and Geometric Forms. It has All Vegetable Dyes with an Excellent Yellow that Shows No Fading and is Obviously a Finely Dyed Saffron, Great Madder Brown and Softer Madder Tone as well as Small Amounts of Aubergine on a Black Ground Which Has Corroded in the Field and Borders due to Use of Vegetable Base Dyes and Mordants.

      This Eye Catching 100 Year Rare Baluch Tribal Rug has a Hand Spun Wool Pile Symmetrically Hand Knotted to Hand Spun Undyed Wool Warps and Hand Spun Undyed Wool Wefts. It has been Hand Washed, Measures 1.5m x 0.87m (4ft 11inches x 2ft 10.2 inches) and is Highly Desirable to Collectors. It is in Good Condition for its Advanced Age with Corrosion as mentioned and some wear at the warp ends and Original Goat Hair Selvedges. See Photos.
