The patented Flips^TM Strap-on Swimfins^TM design consists of a flexible blade for propelling water behind the swimmer. This blade is comfortable attached to the foot with an adjustable harness. The harness is designed to fit all size feet (big, men's size 16 feet to small, woman's size 3 feet).   ONE SIZE FITS ALL

Flips can be worn with or without a bootie or even over a boot!

These fins are designed for surfing, body boarding and body surfing.

COMFORT

Cramped feet occur when your toe and foot muscles become fatigued. Footpocket swimfins make your toes and forefoot the link between the swimfin and your leg. With these fins you transfer all the force generated by your leg (one of the largest muscle groups) to the water through your foot and toe muscles (a small muscle group). Your toe and foot muscles get tired long before your leg muscles do.

Flips' harness attaches to your ankle and lower leg, bypassing the toes and foot muscles. When Flips are worn correctly (with the harness positioned as far up on your foot as possible) it is impossible to get cramped feet. Flips don't aggravate shin splints either.

FLEXIBILITY GRADIENT

The flex characterstics are controlled by tapered ribs on the sides and bottom of the fin. Flips flex is designed to catch a lot of water and push it behind you to propel you.

FLIPPER AREA

The area of the fin that bends is the Flipper Area. A footpocket swimfin flexibility gradient only allows bending to start from in fron of the swimmer's toes. Flips Flipper Area is larger because they bend from mid-foot.

SWIMFIN WEIGHT

Moving your swimfins accounts for most of the expenditure of your energy. More work is required to move heavy fins through the water. Flips swimfins are only 7 ounces each. A pair of Flips weigh less than half of most other swimfins.

Flips , because they are fin blades with a harness, are very lightweight and flat. They are the perfect travel fins. Flips will fit in your backpack, garment bag, or suitcase.

Ex-franchisee stock - New and unused but have been in storage so may be a little dusty.  Not factory packaged but original tag attached with fitting instructions.
