This Genuine Original Japanese Woodblock Print by Kunio Kaneko is Hand Titled, Kumadori 4 which is a Type of Mask Used in Kabuki Plays to represent the Spirit of the Cat Fish, Dated 2007, Numbered 11/150 and Hand Signed all in Pencil By the Artist in the Bottom Margin and Shows his Red Seal in the Bottom Right Corner of the Scene.

It Shows a Startling Scene of This Magical Kabuku Character and Displays Kaneko's Skill and Creativity with Form, Texture and Colour.

This 2007, Limited Edition, Original Kunio Kaneko Woodblock Print is in As New Condition, Has Never Been Framed, Is Printed on Washi, Traditional Japanese Paper with Ink Bleed Through to the Reverse Side and Measures 16cm x 12.5cm (6.3 inches x 5 inches).

ABOUT THE ARTIST.

Kunio Kaneko was born in Tokyo in 1949 and studied at the Musashino University of Fine Arts. He often uses gold leaf in the colouring of his woodblocks to extremely good effect and has a well established reputation through a number of exhibitions in New York, Tokyo and regional Japanese cities. His woodblocks have an individual appeal and blend the classic design traditions with a modernistic approach to colour and texture.
