 Mountaineers amoungst us know how warm and versitile Polyester fleece can be. it works in the wet, doesn't weigh much, and is stretchy comfortable and versitile.

However poly fleece has limited flame resistance, not so good if you are lilely to be working around the risk of flash, flame, exhaust pipes or MG barrels.

The Fire Fleece - is not flameproof so don't use it for fire fighting just a lot safer than standard fleece.
