Mountainers amongst us know haw warm and versitila polyester fleece can be. It works in the  wet, does not weight much, an is stretchy comfortable and versitile.

However poly fleece has a limited flame resistence. Not so good if you are likely to be working around the risk of flash, flame exhaust pipes of MG barrels.

Fire leece solves this problem, while not flameproof,so don't use it for fire fighting just a lot safer than standard fleece.
