Shimano pads to fit - Shimano Deore BR-M525 / BR-M515 / BR-M495 / BR-M475 / BR-M465 / Nexave BR-C501 / BR-C601 / M05 / M08 and also RST mechanical D power & Tektro Auriga hydraulic / Auriga comp. These Shimano pads are EBC's 'Gold Sintered' formula. EBC's Mountain Bike brake products have been developed in house in conjunction with world famous Downhill champion - Steve Peat. We believe they're the best pads in the world, and we're not alone. Most EBC pads come in three different compound types. GREEN - organic formula for cross-country and general use. RED - high friction 'soft' ceramic compound for race, downhill, and high performance use. GOLD - high durability sintered metal compound for longer life in arduous condition such as wet riding in mud, sand, or grit. Gold pads are NOT to be used in downhill or race use unless the brake system was originally fitted with gold sintered brake pads to avoid brake overheating.
