Not only is this a recipe from yesteryear but part of Australia's social history.
The only date I could find is inside the front cover: For the Period of January - September 1927 ......so assume they are talking about 'the previous book and this was printed not long after - In any event, it's a pretty old book
The book and pages are fully intact however, the cover and spine are very worn - but, given that it's around 90 years old it's in extremely good, antiquarian condition for its age. Pages are all flat and still quite clean and straight.
Includes heaps of old fashioned recipes including Invalid Cookery, Wines, Cordials, Jams, Jellies, Cakes etc...including some good old fashioned Household hints.
It is an honest, original collectable book
