It has SILENT hand written on label

 


"PICCADILLY THREE" is also written on lid

I don't know anything about the exact history of this can

but it belonged to my elderly uncle who had an huge hobby in photographic/film

things.

 

He was from South Australia and this may have belonged to PICCADILLY MOVIE THEATRES in Adelaide and may well have been one of three theatres??

I could be completely wrong - as I know nothing about it except through family folklore but  it definitely has the FOX MOVIETONE NEWS label.


CAN - IN VERY OLD, ORIGINAL, HONEST CONDITION. HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED BUT LEFT IN IT'S OLD CONDITION WITH DENTS AND MARKS AND ALL. EVEN SO IT'S A NICE COLLECTABLE AND WOULD LOOK GREAT AS IN A PHOTOGRAHIC STUDIO - FILM MOVIE STORE OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH FILM. 

HAVE TAKEN CLOSE UP SHOTS - BUT PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY FURTHER


MEASURES APPROX: 10 1/2 INCHES ACROSS X 1 1/2 INCHES THICK WITH LID ON
