Using an strong simple palette of red lines and white dots, Susan has created a powerful piece of work. With the internationally celebrated artsists Yala Yala Gibbs as her father and Ningura Napurrula as her mother, Susan Gibson Napaltjarri was destined to become a famous artist in her own right. Having been taught by the best, Susan depicts aspects of her birth country surrounding Tjukurla in the Gibson Desert, Western Australia. Painting in a strong and powerful style reminiscent of her renowned father, Susan adds her own individualistic flair to his trademark Dreamings that are mostly associated with the secret Tingar cycle.

Susan’s works are fast gaining a well-earned reputation as examples of indigenous fine art of the highest order, and therefore, are proving to be highly collectable both here and overseas.
