Tanaka authentic full hand forged blue steel black finish Nakiri 165mm

Made of Hitachi Yasuki blue steel #2
Well done double forging!
during Hot and cold forging was done.
It makes the blades to gain tenacity and re-sharpenable.
We can confirm that at the root of the back of the blade is very thick.
We know ,the blade forged very well.
Japanese water quenting was done.
The HRC hardness bring up to 61-64.
The handle made of yellow cedar.
It is the hardest to cruppt wood.
it's sterile handle.

Yellow ceder handle

  • handle is made of  JP yellow ceder.

  • It has good smell.

  • Hand weld forged steel.You can confirm the breathing line which made by the work.
