In this striking example of her famous trademark genre, Josie has created a stunningly effective and electrifyingly colourful painting to depict the Bush Berry Dreaming - using a vibrant pallet of green, red, yellow and pink dots applied over a contrasting black background. Josie is a senior and respected Utopian artist who has been painting ever since she was a teenager. She paints her Dreamings and her country’s landscape in a bold innovative style. Some of her stories are inherited from her late grandmother, the one and only Emily Kame Kngwarreye. As testimony to her international recognition, Josie has had numerous exhibitions including the Australian Embassy in Washington DC, the Australian Consulate in New York and the United Nations in New York. Her valuable works are also represented in many local and international public and private collections.

* Each photograph is shown as close to the actual colours of the painting as possible. However, those colours may vary slightly due to lighting conditions or the buyer’s monitor used for viewing.

* Wherever possible, we observe and respect traditional indigenous sensitivities and tribal customs. We apologise in advance to any living relatives if references or photographs of deceased persons may offend. No offence is ever intended.

* All paintings will be sent unframed [unless otherwise stated] and rolled up in a strong secure postal tube via insured registered mail or courier [depending on the size]. Listed postage costs refer to Australia only. Overseas purchasers, please email for a postage and or insurance quote as costs can vary considerably from country to country.

* All paintings are sold as is and buyers accept that colours may vary slightly from expectations. Refunds will only be given in the event of manufacture imperfections in materials - not on the subjective aesthetic appeal of the painting.
