YILPI MARKS~INVESTMENT~Absolutely Stunning~TO DIE FOR!

Description

Yilpi Marks

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - THIS STUNNING PAINTING
HAS TO BE SEEN TO BE TRULY APPRECIATED!

YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER ~ It'S GORGEOUS!

TITLE: Wild Bushflowers
PAINTED IMAGE SIZE: approx 880 x 600 mm [plus border for framing]
COMPLETED: 2009
MEDIUM: Acrylic paint on quality canvas

THE PAINTING: Yilpi has painted a simply gorgeous interpretation of the wild bush flowers that light up the desert after the rains. This is a beautifully executed piece with a mass of glorious dappled colour and movement set against a contrasting burnt orange primed background. A stunning future investment piece that would be the talking point on any wall – the photos simply do not do it justice.

NOTE: Please see other photos below.

THE ARTIST: Yilpi Marks was born at Ernabella and is well connected in the aboriginal art world. She is married to Damian Marks from Pupunya, whose uncle was the internationally famous artist Cifford Possum Tjapaltjarri [in Sotheby's July 2007 auction, one of his paintings fetched a record $2.4 m], making him a cousin to Clifford’s two daughters, Gabriella and Michelle Possum Nungurrayi - both accomplished artists in their own right. Yilpi is a quietly spoken artist, but speaks strongly through her amazing paintings that she interprets in several different unique styles.

PROVENANCE: A Certificate of Authenticity with a photo of Yilpi holding her work, that she has signed verso.

To make your buying experience easier and more enjoyable, please note the following:

* All buyers with less than five feedback stars, PLEASE contact us via email BEFORE bidding to establish your credentials [we're sure they'll be OK!].

* Please note that the postage and handling costs include all packing materials and containers, packaging and handling, registered mail charges AND standard insurance - as well as the actual postage cost and or courier fees.

* Painting sizes are always quoted as the actual painted image area, NOT the inflated overall canvas size. There is always an extra [approx 5cm all round] border for stretching and framing.

* All Artworks are hand painted originals and therefore may contain some irregularities. However, these are all part of the individual creative process and helps to confirm the identity of each piece.

* Each photograph is shown as close to the actual colour of the painting as possible. However, colours may vary slightly due to lighting conditions or the monitor used for viewing.

* Wherever possible, we observe and respect traditional indigenous sensitivities and tribal customs. We apologise in advance to living relatives if any references or pictures of deceased persons may offend. No offence is intended.

* Payments are accepted via direct deposit or Paypal and are to be made within 3 days of purchase [unless alternative arrangements have been made]. If using bank deposit, please leave your ebay username or item number as a reference.

* Paintings will be dispatched within 2 days upon clearance of funds.

* All paintings will be sent unframed [unless otherwise stated] and rolled up in a strong secure tube via insured registered mail or courier [depending on the size]. Overseas purchasers, please email for a postage quote as costs vary from country to country.

* Your positive feedback is important to us. Once you have received your item, please leave us feedback and we will then reciprocate. Remember, any problem is solvable - negative feedback advantages no one.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions at all.
Thank you for your interest and good luck with your bidding!
