MARY GREGORY AND HER GLASS by Robert W. Miller (1972)

For your consideration, Mary Gregory and Her Glass by Robert W. Miller, Des Moines, Iowa, Wallace-Homestead Book Co., (1972), 32 pages, 6" X 9", dark red card covers with plastic comb binding, full-color and b&w photo illustrations, Fine, clean copy, plastic comb binding brittle and cracked with top inch missing. Author presents evidence of the actual glass artist Mary Gregory who worked for the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. during the 1870s and 1880s and includes only known photographs of her; presents 1972 prices; depicts antique, European and "New" Mary Gregory and Mary Gregory type glass; plus a brief history of Boston and Sandwich Glass Co.

Those with an interest in Mary Gregory collectibles will find three lovely pieces of the antique mouthblown glassware decorated with children hand-painted in white enamel in my auctions this week,  from the same estate as is this book.

Payment is due within 10 days of auction close. PayPal is accepted and permits you to pay with a major credit or debit card. NY residents must add 8.625% tax. An echeck thru PayPal may take longer than a week to clear your bank and result in commensurate delay in shipping your item.

I ship worldwide both quickly and cost effectively, almost always within a day of your payment. I do my best to keep costs as low as possible, shipping most often by U.S.P.S., larger items by UPS Ground. Odd-shaped, very large or fragile items may require specially purchased or double boxing, adding to weight and cost of shipping. I am proud of my secure packaging record and have shipped more than 1500 eBay items safely and without casualty. Insurance is included on fragile items and all those with cost in excess of $50. United States customers are advised of U.S.P.S. Delivery Confirmation # and date shipped, International customers informed of ship date & US Customs #. A packing slip receipt is included in each package. Multiple items are combined whenever possible to minimize shipping costs. International customers, please note: Customs delays occasionally happen and are beyond my control. Please be patient if your package takes longer than is estimated -- it will eventually arrive.

All items are vintage and sold "AS IS". I make every effort to accurately describe and picture each item to the best of my ability. Please note I am not an expert in all categories and it is the buyer's responsibility to ask questions and request additional information or pictures before the close of auction. Refunds are permitted only in the event of inadvertent misrepresentation and purchaser's notice of intent within 48 hours of receipt. Information pertaining to age and origin is often based on my own knowledge of the family and its history.

Living in one place for the last century, four generations of one family saved anything interesting and appealing that looked as if it might one day prove useful. Most of my auctions are from a family estate -- true one-of-a-kind vintage treasures that span the 20th century.

I strive to make your eBay shopping experience pleasant & simple, to please valued customers and encourage you to come back again. I appreciate your patronage and offer the same high standard of personalized service to everyone no matter what cost the item. If you feel I fall short of these goals, let me know and I will try to make it right. If you have a question, please email -- you will receive a timely reply. Thank you for shopping with me on eBay.
