Michelin Service Course PRO 3 Race tyres (a pair (x2 tyres))

Tyres are the latest Michelin PRO 3 Race "Service Course" tyres and are those supplied to the European Pro Teams. These 2009 tyres replace Michelin's popular Pro2race tyres and are lighter, stronger, better (see below)

Used by a number of professional cycling teams in the 2008 Tour de France and in many other Pro Tour races this year, these tyres have become the tyre of choice for many professionals, enthusiast, and also recreational cyclists. Great road tyre even on those Sydeny roads!

These tyres are 700x23C  and feature:

  • Michelin's Black tyre
  • Reduced Rolling Resistance
  • Cornering grip increased by 20% over the Pro Race 2 tyres
  • 20% more straight line grip than the Pro Race 2 tyres 
  • HDDP High Density Puncture Protector under tread
  • New dual compound
  • Kevlar folding bead
  • 200g per tyre (as per Michelin specs)
  • tyres are 'fresh' 2009 stock sourced from supplier this month.
