Wonderful souvenir from days gone with a View of Memorial Carillon King's Parade Bathurst NSW.
In Excellent Condition.
dish measures 8.5cm across.
Made by Royal Stafford England.
A must for the collector of local peices or a past traveller to bring back all them good memories.

Back in the early days of Australian tourism, Seller of fine china such as Shelley, Royal Stafford, Delphine, Royal Grafton from England, IBC, Victioria from Czechoslovakia plus Australian Companies like Studio Anna, Westminster and Florenz travelled the country enlisting stores to sell there souvenir ware such as Ashtrays, Pindishes, Salt and Pepper Shakers, Jugs, Plates, Wall Plaques and Tea Set Trios.
They normally show prominent buildings or landmarks from that area and capturing street scenes of the time. These wonderful works of art make wonderful collection pieces because of there history and size.
I believe that these will only increase in value more and more in years to come. The Australia market in these pieces would not have been very large with the small population base in Australia at the time, so most of these pieces are very rare and will become increasing so as their true value in realised.
Today such souvenirs are mass produced by our Asian neighbours.
