THESE SUPERB ANTIQUE BRASS INKWELLS WITH HINGED LIDS ARE SEPARATED BY A RECTANGULAR CONTAINER WITH A SEPARATE LID, IN THE CENTRE OF A HIGHLY ORNATE BRASS SURROUND (PHOTO SIX). THERE IS ALSO A PEN HOLDER ABOVE THE LION'S HEAD DECORATION AT THE BACK OF THE STAND (PHOTO EIGHT) AND THERE IS ANOTHER LION'S HEAD DECORATION AT THE FRONT OF THE STAND (PHOTO SEVEN).

THE STAND MEASURES 36CMS (14") WIDE, WITH A WIDTH OF 20CMS (8") AND A HEIGHT OF 11CMS (4"). IT WEIGHS A HEFTY 76OZ (2.2Kg). THE INKWELLS PREVIOUSLY CONTAINED RED AND BLACK INKS (SEE PHOTO FIVE). THE INKWELLS HAVE A DIAMETER OF 5CMS (2") AND THE RECTANGULAR CONTAINER MEASURES 11CMS (4.5") X 4CMS (1.5"). IT IS OF REALLY SOLID CONSTRUCTION, BUT I CAN NOT FIND A MAKERS MARK?
