RETRO SET OF 3 LARGE ELKE POTTERY CONTAINERS ~ EXCELLENT CONDITION

incised on base from largest to smallest 'Elke 56 Aust', 'Elke 57 Aust' and 'Elke 59 Aust'

This set of 3 containers from Elke studio pottery have cork lids and are in excellent condition. The neck and shoulder of each container has a brown drip glaze over a soft pale green coloured glaze, whilst the body of each is a rich terracotta colour. The containers have glossy cream interiors and are in excellent condition. The largest container has a small (2mm) glaze flake on the rim, partially concealed by the cork, and some small flakes on the terracotta section, ranging from 1mm to the largest of 5mm (see photo). The medium sized container has a barely there flake on the inside rim, mentioned for complete accuracy. The smallest container has no flaws except for some crazing to the interior. All containers have been well used and have acquired some light white marks around their bases, probably from painted shelving.

Postage

The containers will be carefully packaged in a strong box with bubble wrap and filling. I am using recycled packaging materials for these items so you pay stamp cost only. The packaged weight will be between 4 and 5 kg.

I recommend Registered Post for an extra $2.80. This service not only gives a tracking number and proof of posting, but also includes $100 insurance. Just send me a message as soon as possible after the auction ends and I'll send you a revised invoice.

I will happily combine postage, where possible, if you are interested in any of my other items.
