My Brighton items are handpicked by myself from a closeout inventory. These items are retired and almost impossible to find in a retail store. Brighton will sometimes 'mark' the items to prevent returns to a retail store by either stamping leather goods in an inconspicuous place with 5 small x's (xxxxx), putting a tiny hole on the inside arm of sunglasses, rubbing out the name or serial number on the inside label of their purses, or putting a small scratch on the back of the watches. None of these 'marks' detract from the beauty or function of these items.
