CONDITION - GOOD - Plastic internal cover in good condition. The LP is in excellent condition with no marks. Jacket has slight imprint of album on it but otherwise excellent condition also.

During his long and distinguished career, Ray Price accomplished the feat of re-inventing hard-core honky-tonk and gained success with romantic love ballads crossing the country-and-pop market. He is a great innovator who is able to mix it with the both genres.

By the mid-1960s, Price was moving towards pop-flavored ballads like "Make the World Go Away" and a jazzy version of Willie Nelson's "Night Life." In 1967 he recorded with a full orchestra "Danny Boy," losing some of his hard-core fans, who much preferred honky-tonk sounds. But Price won new audiences as well, and continued with more success in the early 1970s with "For the Good Times" (a pop smash that hit No. 11 on the pop charts)

Despite not reaching the top 10s for a long while he has continued his successful career right up to 2003 when he recorded with Willie Nelson.

Vintage clothes are just that, they are not new, so be sure to use the photos as part of the description, you may see something that my critical eye has missed. Clothing is only washed if it is dirty. Refunds will only be offered if I have inadvertently mis-represented an item, not because you have changed your mind or something doesn't fit, measurements are given; or if the color viewed on your monitor is different to actual colors. As much as possible I take photos with natural light and only enhance to reflect true colors. If you are not happy with your purchase please make contact and tell me of your grievance and I will sort it out with you. I do not refund postage costs.
