Up for auction is a brand new Mediterraneo fruit basket in Red 29cm made by Alessi.

Large fruit bowl in polished heavyweight 18/10 red spray-coated steel. - Already a bestseller, this recent introduction is, as designers would say, very 'organic'. This very substantial piece (in both scale and weight) is typical of Alessi's move away from designs that have strong lines. Mediterraeo was designed by Emma Silvestris, a jeweller, and strongly evokes the subterranean theme that she took as her brief. In short, it's stunning!
