This copy is a revised edition of this 26 paged self-produced booklet that was a copy of the Temple of the Dark Moon’s training course notes for a one day workshop of the same name that used to be held. The replacement workshop has since evolved into a six week course.

Written specifically for the Southern Hemisphere "Practical Wicca" commences with a short outline of the practices of Wicca as a religion and looks at its central ethic, the "Wiccan Rede" (the full version is reproduced).

It then discusses the many differences between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres before introducing the "Southern" Wheel of the Year. Magickal working tools of a Wiccan are then discussed before a detailed guide for a formal circle casting with respect to the Southern Hemisphere is given.

Other insights including when to and when not to perform rituals, working with the various Moon phases, incenses, a self blessing ritual, as well as a recommended reading list is also given.

The author, Frances, is the Temple of the Dark Moon's founder and HPs with over 20 years experience as a Wiccan and ritualist.  She is also a regular contributor to "Insight" magazine's "Pagan Pages" for over six years.
