From our "Portland" series, this hand-built set of wheels offers the best of many attributes for your fixed gear or single speed bicycle. We've put this set together with a machined front rim so that you can get the best braking performance possible. These would be a great pick no matter whether you're looking to run a front brake while you get the hang of riding fixed gear, want to run a very minimal single speed, or just plain need the added security of a brake due to the riding conditions you face. The Formula hubs high-flange's provide a stylish old school look, the sealed bearings are silky smooth, and the rear hub is so versatile. You can set it up to be run on bikes with rear spacing of 120mm, 126mm, 130mm, or 135mm. The flip-flop rear hub gives you a plethora of options. The DT Swiss Champion spokes offer an optimum strength to weight ratio.
