All facsimiles are the exact size of the original . All facsimiles (except some Confederate State and Local issue offerings) bear cancellation markings. All facsimiles are legal and meet federal code: Title 18 > Part I > Chapter 25 > § 504 - Paragraph 1 (ii).

Ebay Guidelines:

All facsimiles have the word "Facsimile" indelibly printed several times on the reverse. A clear scan of the reverse is shown above. The fact that these are facsimiles is mentioned in both the title and description.

Perforated issues:

Perforated are fully perforated.

Grilled issues:

All 19th Century grilled issues are embossed with a grill impression allowing for an unsurpassed life-like appearance.

Stamps on piece:

Stamps on piece are facsimiles permanently adhered to paper portraying an unsurpassed life-like three dimensional appearance. The stamp itself along with the paper both bear the word "Facsimile" indelibly printed on the reverse.

Stamps on cover:

Stamps on cover are facsimiles of stamps permanently adhered to a reproduction envelope which appears realistic. Both the stamp and the reproduction cover bear the word "Facsimile" indelibly printed on the reverse.
